Our home in Ohio sold quickly with the stipulation that the new owners would take possession in 30 days. We quickly came to Florida to look for a home & not completely able to decide on a town. We only had a week at that time that we were able to stay in Florida to search for a home. We were very optimistic that we would find a home because we didn't want to make another trip in a couple of weeks & be down to the wire more than we were. When we arrived to Florida & stopped in our first Realtor office we were distressed to hear the Realtor we sat down with say to us, " I am not a tour guide, I am a Realtor. I will give you a list of homes to drive by & if there is any you are very serious about then we can see about that home." She was quite rude & hasty with us. We left that office feeling so discouraged. Here we are in a hurry & she didn't email any homes till the next day we continued to look for three days. The homes were in slum neighborhoods & nothing what we requested. Three days of our week was down the drain. We decided to then to look at Jacksonville for one day, then St. Augustine for one day. We just continued to feel discouraged as it was not where we wanted to settle. We drove to Palm Coast. I really thought I was wasting my time going in but I felt I was being led in. I opened the door at a real estate office & just said to the lady at the desk, "I really need a realtor." That's when I met Ann Gordon!!!!!!!!!!! Ann stood & said I can help you. She took us in an office & found out exactly what we were looking for. Then she began to call people to get permission to take us into homes right away. We had only two days left & Ann was taking us from home to home. We finally found a place that I said I could see myself waking up in every morning. We continued to look at more homes & Ann offered to take us back to the home I like to check it out one last time. Ann was not worried about her time or being inconvenienced, she only cared about making us happy. It was even getting late on Saturday & Ann had plans to pick up her daughter & friend for something but she still put us first.
